Débat sur la ''Question Nationale''

A debate on the nationalist issue, with Charles Gagnon from the En lutte collective, Pierre Vallières, leftist thinker, and Gérald Godin, deputy for the Parti Québécois. Each man states his views in turn : for Vallières nationalist oppression is a form of capitalist oppression, but the social issue is primordial; for Godin, the nationalist issue must be solved first, since it is the key to all the other issues; Charles Gagnon acknowledges that Québec is an oppressed nation, but stresses that Canadian and Québécois workers must not be divided against their common enemy : Canadian capitalism.
