The speeches of the Rhinoceros Party's candidates given at the local bar La Casanous during the federal election of 1972 are illustrated with an ironic assemblage of election images.  Doctor Jacques Ferron opens the evening by remarking his difficulty in adopting a "Rhinoceros style". Pierre Drolet, Louisette Dussault, Lucien Rivard, Gaston Miron, Raoul Dugay and, of course, Michel Chartrand follow. The camera records these comic monologues and the audience's reactions. Raoul Dugay's songs and prattlings close the evening.
