Filiations follows suit, in extended form, two video installations: Portrait du jardinier (Portrait of the Gardner) and Portrait filial (Filial Portrait).

Through this video, nourished by text, sound landscapes and the formal work of editing, I seek to specify, without necessarily explaining, the complex, demanding, and invigorating relations that may be maintained between the construction of virtual images and a sequence of objects which share an uncertain space.

Through my pupil-images and luminous bodies, I seek a lively and attentive perception under the "thin strip of my microscope". I attempt to say that showing is a heartbeat and creating is an act of engagement. (Susan Vachon)
