Fluxus artist Robert Filliou and Kantor engage in a language game. The latter forges and then undoes the paternal bond and morphs into an extra-terrestrial. A triptych of performance art: mentor and disciple, father and son, and parallel worlds. In his time-based process, Kantor tips his hat to the artist’s matrix of conceptual art, play acting and popular culture.
“My aim was to dissect the art world and art history, while introducing the concept of Monty Cantsin and Neoism in an ironic tone.” - Istvan Kantor
