Born in Quebec City in 1948, Michèle Waquant studied visual art in both Quebec City and Paris. She has now been living in Paris for many years. Her work joins painting, video, writing and photography. Since 1990, she has been teaching video at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Dijon, France.
