This video is a true-to-life documentary about the D'Amours family. Roger, Yolande and their two children are shown in their day to day lives: Roger's political commitment, the new feminist tendencies of Yolande, the suburban life, the big american car, the children and their need for emotional security, and the conservative sexual education of this 30-something couple in the 70’s. They reflect on their past and look to the future. These themes provide topics for discussion allowing for contradictions to arise. It offers a particular viewpoint of a "liberated" couple of the seventies.
