Les rétroviseurs

Les rétroviseurs is a single channel version of three monitor/three channel video installation. It reflects the precarious existence of nature in an urban environment. In the city nature is officially parcelled and zoned into parks and tree planters or it springs up as weeds in the cracks of the sidewalk. In its non rationality, in its non conformity with a socially ordered world, nature represents for me another reality which is felt sensorially rather than perceived intellectually.
