Blue Meanie

They sway to the point of uplift. Drunk and hallucinated. Their hair speaks to each other, organizing an illogical sequence in a tender swirl. A cosmic vision. Enough to make you dizzy. They're not next to the world, but deeper into it. Farther than you'd imagine. Under the earthy humus, they envisage a radical action. A radical, terminal healing. Restless, closer to mushrooms than to the sky of ideas, they are without lesson. They arrive from the forest and everything is illuminated.

Blue Meanie is created from the archives of the dance work Mystic-Informatic presented at l'Écart in 2021. Mystic-Informatic is a collective creation initiated by Audrée Juteau in collaboration with N. Zoey Gauld, Catherine Lavoie-Marcus and Ellen Furey.
