This document makes us aware of the housing problems that the tenants who have few means must face to defend for themselves. The video presents interviews with experts, testimonials of city dwellers and a landlord, concerning the various factors leading to this unconfortable state in the society and the economy. The video illustrates the main points of the property speculation that is conducive to an increase in the rent, housing shortages and the forced movement of the tenants who must achieve unity to fight for their rights. There are short moments of fiction where we see a young women seeking an apartment on the phone which alternates with interviews and images of Montréal from that period.
