On July 19, 1971, La Presse newspaper ordered a lockout against its employees. The employees ceased to work for several months. During this period, a famous demonstration took place on October 29 that ended with one death and many injuries. This video aims to express the position of the employees. The government and the employer already have access to large forums - the official media - with which to express their points of view. The employees denounce management and criticize their own union as they try to understand the global issues of the conflict with La Presse while maintaining a long-term political perspective. The interviews are interspersed with photographic stills of the conflict.
