This video was inspired by two Québécois legends, Rose Latulipe by Philippe-Aubert de Gaspé and The Magic Violin by Louis Frechette. Two comedians/actors create atmosphere, give depth to the characters and bring forth the essential components of the legends. The thematic structure consists of the conventional triangle which includes the family (father and fiancé), the stranger (devil) and the priest (protector of the clan). This piece is performed by actors specializing in physical and bodily expression. The sound includes ambient noises, electronic music and violin.
