This is a documentary-portrait of Peter Gnass, a sculptor exploring new materials and approaches. Images of a plexiglass sculpture made of light-reflecting spheres appear at regular intervals, illustrating Peter Gnass' exploration of modern materials. The sculptor wishes to open the doors to his artistic process and establish new relationships between the work and the spectator. He comments on his drawings giving us a better understanding of his projects in various disciplines.
