Que signifie solidarité ?

Filmed in March, 1981 in various areas of Poland. Solidamosc was only in existence for 7 months, and was already composed of more than 10 million members. But what does solidarity signify for farmers, workers, women, and organisers of Polish unions? The people interviewed all have a common desire to speak out and to situate themselves in the rapidly evolving process to take over the country. This video was made only a few months before the implementation of martial law in December 1981.
