The Space of Pottery
A journey into the world of Quebecois potter Paul Mathieu, whose original work defies the usual boundary between sculpture and craft. From his workshop in Venice, California, he introduces us to the technique of ceramics. He creates before our very eyes a complex work composed of seven different pieces inspired by the book by the physicist Stephen Hawking, A Brief History Of Time. He also shares his aesthetic reflections and concerns.
