Anamnèse, illuminates some of the more evocative contents of Anna’s memories; these memories include her recollection of an abortion, a life lived in the face of violence and one which must experience violence in order to become free. Anna remains torn between the future and the past. A poetic and mythological fiction in the mode of representational narrative with a dreamlike structure, Anamèse, or the memory of a story, is about life's becoming.
