Catastronics: Mass Media
Interspersed with scenes of rioting and a working revolver, Kantor, brandishing neon lights in a hieratic gesture, sings about his desire to control mass media. During this ‘new wave’ and post-punk era, the artist experimented with electropop and formed a number of bands in various music genres, notably folk, ‘noise’ and techno.
