The dance video L'écurie 360 is an examination of the social forms of femininity, performance and yoke imposed on the human condition. Three female dancers shut up in three horse stalls explore in front of the viewer the animal-like aspect of their existence in order to bring their femininity back to a raw state. "Kindly die at a gallop". (Nelly Arcan)

Artist’s Statement
From one project to the next, through opportunities for residencies, presentations in various settings and multiple forms of dissemination and collaboration, my artistic ideas and production are carried out in a "transdisciplinary" framework. Dance permeated by video, non-conformist photography and literature. It transgresses its medium to develop its ideas, both head-on and incisively. This video dance project is closely tied to my principal enquiries into both form and content (the subject). For several years I have been addressing the subject of femininity from a critical and social perspective of sublimation and desublimation of the object-body (La Fiction du désir, 24 X CAPRICES and Pouliches, based on the work of Cindy Sherman). My investigation of the subject of femininity often takes place from the perspective of the body pushed by its excesses into a notion of performance very close to that of sports (46’’00’’05, La boucherie, L’ÉDUCATION PHYSIQUE and L’ÉCURIE). This video dance project is also a way of thinking socially about femininity and the transgressed urban performance of a social yoke tied to the human condition.
