This videotape is structured and layered like the experience of a journey, a search to explore a few of the visual and audio correlations between the body and landscape. Like the patterns of the paths of lightning bolts in landscape, or the veins and energy lines which run through plants and people, each has their own pulse; each has their own meridian. Indeed, the locations where most of the video and audio recordings were made for this tape - namely Iceland, Scotland and the Netherlands - lie geographically "on either side of the meridian".
