Quatre chants pour le regard
Here are Quatre chants pour le regard, four moments to interrogate the body of the other, the feminine, the foreign, and the connivence between beings; four ways to skim the frontiers of a joyous hypothesis and useful fiction. The video opens upon a celebration by the river's banks, followed by A soliloquy Under the window. Then, characters barely veiled appear in Slow and light airs, and finally, in A longtime already, a choir of young girls announce the laughs of the day and take up the refrain. The work proposes four means of attaching whimsical attention to situations that are simultaneously familiar and strange.
