Liabilities: Part 1 & 2
This autobiographical work is built around 4 years of performance work by Monique Moumblow as her alter ego Anne Russell, a name that was decided against at her birth. It follows two characters, "Anne", whose father is killed in a freak car accident, leaving her mother free to name her and "Monique", whose father survives and finally chooses her name. Offering a playful introspection into the concept of truth and fiction, it explores them as not opposing ideas but rather essential parts of each persons autobiography.
