Rantdance is a single-channel video-audio piece inspired by a scene from the life of a cormorant couple who live in the harbour of a canal in Gent, Belgium, shot by Liberovskaya who spent several weeks there in 2008 in a house looking out on that same harbour. Margolis composed the music in response to the video footage. It features Monique Buzzarté on trombone. The video special effects were produced on the Paik/Abe "Wobulator" at the historical Experimental Television Center in Owego, (that closed its doors in July 2011 after 40 years of operation).
