This is the third part in the series on divorce entitled S'aimer toute une vie. This is the continuous recording of a discussion among young people on the consequences of their parents’ divorce. The children, especially the older ones, talk about the circumstances of the divorce and their feelings towards their new life. A major part of the discussion is about the role of the father and his absence. In many cases, the children live with the mother after the divorce. For many of the children, the divorce was a difficult but positive step. Some of them live alone and have learned to become independent from their parents. However, they feel distant from the family model and talk about their need for an adult presence in their lives and the repercussions the divorce might have on their own emotional life in the future. This video is animated by the touching and funny words of the participants especially Nathalie Petroski, who is quite mischevious.
