Cut Piece is a performance originally written and performed by Yoko Ono in Kyoto, Japan, in 1964. The piece has also been performed in London and New York. It adresses issues of passivity, agression, violence, trust, and voyeurism all of which are ignited by the interaction of the audience with the performer.
