The Dreams of Function

The Dreams of Function attempts to analyse possible narrative structures by utilizing subjects (a clock, a kettle, a hair dryer and a radio) that act as signifiers of and by themselves. The implicit subject of this six part tape is its form. The viewer becomes more aware of camera techniques, timing and soundtrack when these devices are used in conjunction with an unorthodox cast.
