In 2002, Mario Coté realizes L’Homme de la campagne, from the short story. Eleven years later, he revisits his own video, building further the complex sense exuding of the reading text. Thus, the narrator, Denis Lavalou, alone in front of the microphone of a dark recording studio delivers this last sentence: “Now, I go away and I close the door”.
