A couple faces each other from individual islands surrounded by water. As the tide goes out, it reveals that they are on a single ground. The doubled mirror image of the action measures the relationship through time and shape.

Presented as an Installation in 2019:
Double screen projection of a 2-hour action in which a couple stands in stillness, facing each other from their individual island. As the tide goes out around them, it reveals that they are on a single ground. The video is exhibited in a mirrored double projection, one in real-time and the other in high speed. The double image measures the relationship through time and shape.
Installation Technical Description:
Each video is projected side by side on a loop. The first one is real-time 2-hour action, the second is a 3-minute-high-speed version looped with black space in-between. The ambient sound comes from the real-time version.
Installation exhibited at Panache (Baie-Comeau), 2019 and Le Lieu (Québec), 2021
