Flocon de Neige (Floquet de Neu in Catalan) was an albino gorilla living in captivity in Barcelona’s zoological gardens. He was captured in 1966 and died in 2003. For nearly 40 years, he was the zoo’s main attraction and the city’s mascot. Towards the end of his life, he systematically turned his back to the public. In this video, I play him, bare-footed and covered in white fur.
