Lavatory, Adad Hannah — Three strangers sit on toilets in a public restroom without walls.

Toilet, Washroom, Water Closet, or Lavatory, all these words are used to describe the place where we go to take care of one of the few very visceral needs that we cannot avoid or hide. We lock ourselves in small rooms, wipe the seat with toilet paper and do what we must. In this playful composition, the walls of a public restroom are removed, offering a window into human intimacy and vulnerability as actors are left to carry out bodily processes amongst the presence of one another.
