La Aguja y el Tambor (The Needle and the Drum) is a warm and tender look at my grandparents. It is also a reflection on memories and the experiences of life. In a rural setting of a long-gone era, my grandfather is a musician and my grandmother is a seamstress. There, memories intertwine in an abyss of dreams and illusions. It is also there where their stories imprint themselves, like an embroidery, on the canvas of time.
