In 1973, 400 workers from 15 labour unions of the CSN and the QFL occupied the offices of the Liberal labour minister, Jean Cournoyer. The workers wanted to make their demands known concerning prolonged strikes, particularly due to the use of scab labour and police injunctions enforced by companies against their workers. This documentary demonstrates the strategies used by the workers to convince the minister to meet with them, the arrival of labour leaders and the final confrontation with the minister. It reconstructs with uncommon energy the overall atmosphere and the reactions of the protagonists.
