Raymond Gervais, the producer, is a visual artist who integrates musical elements into his installations. He has written a script for the bass clarinet that was left behind by a friend who has gone on a trip. For the producer, it’s a "ritual that is continuously modified during the shooting". The time during which the clarinet was in its case corresponds to a silence in a musical phrase.
