Memories of Touch addresses the pleasure and pain of touching and being touched. It makes use of the versatile movement capacities of hands to take all kinds of shapes, their transformative potential and narrative expression. It creates shifting feelings immersing a viewer into fantastic imagery (metamorphosis of hands), sensual and violent interactions and at times, the uncomfortable realisation that hands seem to be cut off a human body. Though, it is also a celebration of the great abilities of hands that are so specific for the human animal.
