This video presents a number of people in the world of dance, among them people from the Canada Council, choreographers and dancers; Ludmilla Chiriaeff, then Director of the Grands Ballets canadiens; Eva Von Genscy, co-founder of the Ballets Jazz; Jean-Pierre Perreault; Brian McDonald; Chantal Bellehumeur. It is interesting to note that the majority of the participants are anglophone, from which we can discern the situation of dance in Québec, which at the time had few authority figures. The video also includes an excerpt from Jérémie, a very successful piece at that time. This is a pertinent testimonial for anyone interested in the history of dance, its problems and evolution.
