In 1992, nearly 900,000 people lacked basic reading and writing skills in Quebec. Besides their inability to read and write, the illiterate are seriously handicapped in their ability to participate and interact in society. Helping in the effort toward rehabilitation, Analphabêtes? Analphabètes! aims at sensitizing and assisting workers in community and public networks.
