Archipels: Shifting Lands
“There is a sound, always, so constant we can’t hear it.”
A shapeshifting trip, a many-voiced film, a hallucinatory journey where stories of survival, urgency, fragility, apocalypses and resistance intertwine. First driven by a desire to experience isolation, Shifting Lands gradually became a deeply relational experience. A site for encounters and collisions. An inward and outward wander, made from fragments collected on the road, in Iceland, Northern Quebec, Labrador, Tunisia and elsewhere.
What if the unconscious was a place, where we could meet others?
