Chronicles of a man at odds with modern civilisation, this video relates the voyage of Omer in present-day Babel. Narrated in a colourful and off-hand manner, characteristic of Michel «Plume» Latraverse's style, this story profiles Omer, descendent in a long line of Omers. Debonaire and free-spirited, he seeks the Tower of Babel while roaming the city. His route is punctuated by short assemblages of images which often form visual jokes. The character meets some «hyppopofemmes» and visits pawn shops on Craig street. The world becomes ridiculous and comical through his eyes.
