Shot when Minister Denis Hardy was presenting a bill that would have created the Institut du Cinéma Québécois, this video deals with the distribution problems faced by the Québécois film industry. The video was primarily shot during two meetings, one in the Cinéma Outremont and the other in the Conventum. We can see and hear a number of participants, among them : Jean-Pierre Tadros, Gratien Gélinas, Lucien Hamelin, Luce Guilbault, Jean-Claude Lord, and Pauline Julien. We are also witness to a confrontation between Jean-Claude Lord, Claude Jutras, and Minister Denis Hardy. This video is as current today as it was then.
