Entrevue avec Normand Thériault

Preparatory interview for the document Télé-visite au Musée, put together by Rose Marie Arbour with Normand Thériault, an art critic and for the group exhibitions Les moins de 35 (1973) and Québec 75 (1975). Normand Thériault considers himself an animator of the Montreal artistic milieu, a role whereby he seeks to stimulate debate and reflection about contemporary art and formulate problematics that may shed light on the notion and meaning of contemporary, art as well as on its modes of existence and its visibility in an international context. He develops his vision of contemporary art by taking the recent past of modern art in Qebec into account.
