An authentic public crier, Daniel Richer, alias "Laflèche", is half American-Indian, half French, mixed and proud of his roots. As well as being handsome, quick-minded and spiritual, he expresses himself with humor. Daniel takes Yonge Street, also known as Route 11, in Toronto. His goal? Ojibwa Keeshigun, the grand Native Indian pow-wow to be held at the old Fort William in Thunder Bay. Before he gets there, however, there is a long route to cross, with many adventures to experience, acquaintances to see again, unexpected encounters to make. There will be funny moments, original characters, action, music, odours and breaths, all linked so closely to life.
