While a woman waits for her two friends to finish a game of chess, time recedes by an hour for the two players. As they wake up from this time warp, the players aren’t able to find the young woman. Believing she has been kidnapped, they go in search of her. The search is played out in parallel with what really happened during the hour they lived twice. At the end of the search, there is an altercation between the two players. One of them falls down dead, an hour has gone by, and the other finds the woman he was waiting for.
