Toucher l'espoir

Through the experience of a group of young Quebeckers who spent a month in Granada, this video brings us into the every day life of a free Nicaragua, but one which is continually under threat from anti-Sandinists and the confusion arising from the crumbling of an old regime.

The images show these youths working with children in a welcome centre and sharing daily life with the local families with whom they lived. These images send us a message of hope which is itself in evidence particularly with Nicaraguan youth who strive to preserve the assets of the revolution and continue to develop the country for everyone.
