Zoo

Shot from a train, Zoo shows a crowded platform of the Berlin Zoologischer Garten station. The movement of the train entering the station renders our perception of the waiting passengers fragmented and out of focus. The kaleidoscopic effect produced by the movement echoes the destabilising experience the individual has upon first arriving in a large city. The soundtrack, the scratches and first notes of a vinyl record, evokes also the arrival of an unknown experience.
