La chambre qui attend - Un portrait d’Alain Fleischer écrivain

Beyond his career as a filmmaker and photographer, Alain Fleischer wrote over twenty novels, shorts stories and essays. His writing methods are unorthodox, to say the least: he recites the words to his long-time companion, Danielle Schirman, who takes them down on the fly. In this profile, we witness the creation of a text written aloud in a Montreal hotel room, where several of his works were created, including La Hache et le violon, a novel published by Éditions du Seuil in 2004.
