Les chaînes de Markov

Some women are chatting: their conversations are ambiguous, filled with uncertainty, repetition and contradiction. The exchanges appear random yet they possess a certain logic. The women try to communicate, to obtain answers to their questions, but all four prove to be condemned to eternal incomprehension, like prisoners of a space-time. Through experimental cinema, Les chaînes de Markov explores narrative ambiguity and interrogates our experience of communication.
