L'Invasion

In a small Colombian village, 300 homeless families boldly decide to solve their housing problem in an audacious way. In one single night, they invade and clear-cut forty acres of land and build 300 straw houses. This video shows us what has become of this "Viente siete de Julio", which several villagers still call The Invasion. These inhabitants share their stories of courage and hard work, and how they finally succeeded in legalizing their actions.
