This essay exposes the problems faced by blacks in Québécois society. It tells the story of Solo, an African immigrant torn between the white Québécois lover who is lodging him and his love for a black woman.The video shows elements of black culture, their experience of rejection and exile. It illustrates cultural differences, especially regarding sexuality, but also shows exemplary openness on the part of some Québécois.
