This docudrama explores and illustrates the situation of Black people in Quebec society in the 1970s. It tells the story of Solo, an African immigrant torn between his white Quebecois lover, who is taking him in, and his love for a Black woman. The scenes and dialogue highlight racial discrimination and cultural differences, but also showcase the open-mindedness of some Quebecers.
