This video denounces the federal government's negligence in coming to terms with a kind of pollution invading the national capital. Depicted as a mysterious form of pollution in which politicians, RCMP officers, and environmental ministers associate happily with waste water and dead fish in the Ottawa River. Images, taken largely from Parliament Hill, show a parade of police officers, government workers and the Prime Minister himself. Through editing, the author attempts to associate the pollution of the Ottawa River with the pollution on Parliament Hill; the soundtrack incorporates the flushing sounds of toilets and music to accentuate the overall sarcasm of the video.
