Robert Bardston, le fils du Barde
Robert Bardston is a Black American cello virtuoso who now lives in Canada. This engaging character, minus his classical tuxedo, speaks with passion and humour about a concert musician's everyday life and about his integration into a new culture. An urge to free himself from the ghetto of Louisville, Kentucky led him to study the cello in West Germany and Canada. Many years later, he has come full circle and takes great pride in his origins. While he talks and demonstrates his musical talent, his honesty and determination as an artist become the main subject of the video.
