In the early 1970s, the central region of Togo had a lush, tropical forest, and fruits and vegetables were plentiful. Today, the Sahel desert robs them of their land. This video describes the work carried out by Serge Charron, an agricultural forester, with the Kotokoli farmers and provides an idea of the efforts needed to stop desertification in these regions.
