Produced at a time when there was a network of community televion stations across Québec, this tape presents video as an alternative medium for freedom of expression and democratic access to information. With the help of excerpts from four videos (Les Knock-outés by Lyse Chagnon, Continuons le combat by Pierre Falardeau and Julien Poulin, Levez-vous, by Lyse Grégoire and Jean Brais, and Québec-Presse), the authors attempt to answer the following question: "When do we, the ordinary people, have the chance to express our ideas?"
